Antinomianism

Formed from the Greek words ἀντί [anti] “against” and νόμος [nomos] “law”. Any view that rejects any form of law and argues against moral, religious, and social norms. In Christianity, this generally refers to a group of people who think that the mosaic law is no longer valid. If this is the case, says the antinomian, then God allows Christians to do whatever they want, including sin.
